Our mission is to educate and encourage sustainable travel experiences, facilitate adventure, and foster responsibility in our community. Started by a local Montana family, Highline Adventures shares its love of unique destinations with guests. We encourage everyone to truly engage with the places they visit and leave those places better than they found them. As stewards of the environment, we’re committed to constantly improving, changing, and making ourselves better.
As a sister brand to Highline Adventures, Starry Night Lodging offers hand-picked vacation rentals in beloved locations, including Big Sky, MT, West Glacier, MT, and Kauai, HI. Our vacation rentals offer everything you need to relax and truly experience these one-of-a-kind destinations. All of our locations share a commitment to improving the local community as well as the global environment with sustainable initiatives. Our hope is that through your stay, you’ll come to love, honor, and respect these destinations as much as we do.
Highline Adventures was originally created as a way for two outdoor adventure-lovers to raise a family in the state they love. CEO Eric met Veronica in Glacier National Park in 1994, where they were both employed. Their first hike together was the Highline Trail, following the Continental Divide below the Garden Wall. In 2006, after 12 years together, the birth of two beautiful daughters, and a wealth of industry experience, the two decided to pour their expertise into a business. With a deep love for Montana and a background in guest service and hospitality, Highline Adventures was born. Their goal was two-fold: support local people with a family-style work environment while treating guests like family, too. Ever since then, it has been their sole focus to treat Montana’s people, visitors, and lands with care.
Meghan Larson has been in the hospitality industry for over 15 years. Having lived most of her life on either coastline of the United States, she became landlocked in beautiful Montana in 2003 after falling in love and marrying her snowboard instructor in Big Sky, Montana. Adventures galore have ensued ever since, with the third best decision of her life happening in 2016 when she joined the Highline Adventures team. You can find Meghan traveling the different Highline properties, instilling a positive and uplifting environment for team members and guests alike. Meghan spends the rest of her work life supporting the Highline Adventures management team in whatever capacity she is able. When not working, Meghan is out enjoying everything Montana has to offer with her two kiddos and snowboard hubby.
